Bojnice,
the spa city, which is located in the central Slovakia, on the Nitra river, near city Prievidza. The city is famous for the eldest zoo in Slovakia, the spa which is one of the eldest and beautiful castle. The city was first mentioned in 1113.
The castle is a Romantic castle with some original Gothic and Renaissance elements built in the 12th century. It is one of the most visited and has been used for a filming of many Slovak and international movies.
